Program details

Creighton’s MBA curriculum is designed to develop values-driven business leaders. The 33-credit program consists of four core courses and seven courses that are determined by each student’s academic background, business experience and career aspirations. Non-core courses must be of sufficient curricular breadth and integrative depth to provide a thorough understanding of business.

Core courses include:

  • Leadership and Organizational Behavior
  • Business Policy and Managerial Action
  • Business, Ethics and Society
  • Survey of Business Intelligence and Analytics

Outcomes

Prepare for leadership positions that increase your earning potential. Management jobs are among the highest paying in the country, and employment is projected to grow by 8% from 2021 to 2031, faster than the average for all occupations.

Concentrations

You have the option to connect your MBA to expertise in a specific area of business through one of six concentrations. To obtain a concentration, students must take three courses in a single area.

The Heider College of Business has been accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Creighton is one of only 2% of institutions to have attained AACSB accreditation for both business and accounting.

Creighton University is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), a Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA).

Admission requirements

The MBA program requires the following:

  • Application
  • Resume or curriculum vitae
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a recommended 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Completion of undergraduate statistics course (or noncredit tutorial may be completed for a fee, if needed)
  • GMAT score (test waiver available)
  • Official transcripts from all educational institutions attended
  • Personal statement
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • Personal interview (at the request of the admissions committee)
  • One to three years of professional work experience preferred

International students

International students are eligible for this program and F-1 visas may be supported upon admission, dependent on chosen format. For admission, international applicants must:
