Program details

The Executive Healthcare MBA curriculum is designed for future healthcare administrators who want to lead with a holistic approach. The 42-credit program features a practitioner-teacher model and provides clinical, managerial and leadership-focused healthcare business content and applications.

The coursework aligns with the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) competencies and prepares you for the organization’s certification exam process, should you choose.

An Accredited Executive Healthcare Leadership Program

Creighton’s EMBA is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) and the Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME). It is the first in Nebraska to be accredited by CAHME and one of only a handful in the world to secure dual accreditation from CAHME and AACSB.

Admission requirements

Admission requirements

The Executive Healthcare MBA program requires the following:

  • Application
  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Official transcripts from institutions where a degree was earned (bachelor’s or higher)
  • At least 3 years of management experience or clinical practice in a healthcare organization
  • Resume or curriculum vitae
  • Personal statement
  • Two letters of recommendation from persons other than friends or family members
  • Personal interview (at the request of the admissions committee)

International students
