Creighton’s curriculum is designed to transform dedicated financial professionals into ethical and adept finance leaders. The 33-credit program consists of 30 core course credits and 3 elective course credits that combine the advanced study of corporate finance, investments and managerial practices. Your elective credits may be drawn from a variety of graduate coursework in the Heider College of Business.

Dual degree option

Accreditation

The Heider College of Business has been accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). Creighton is one of only 2% of institutions to have attained AACSB accreditation for both business and accounting.
Creighton University is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), a Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA).
Admission requirements
The Master of Finance program requires the following:
- Application
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a 3.0 GPA or higher
- Official transcripts from all educational institutions attended
- Resume or curriculum vitae
- Personal statement of approximately 300–500 words that describes your interest in Creighton and this program as well as your professional goals
- Two letters of recommendation from persons other than friends or family members
- GMAT™ score (test waiver available)
- Personal interview (at the request of the admissions committee)
International students
International students are eligible for this program, but must complete it in their country of residence, as F-1 visas will not be issued. For admissions, international applicants must:
- Meet English language proficiency requirements
- Provide evaluations of all transcripts from a NACES-accredited agency
